COVID-19:
Safe and waste-free coffee.
On September 1st, regions south of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland will move to LEvel 3. The government of Aotearoa New Zealand has approved reuse syste such as Again Again for use in Level 3 and below.
Recommendations: Alert Level 3 & below.
From 1 September, South of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand will be in level 3. North from here will stay in level 4.
In April 2020, with the country at Level 3 the government gave the following advice:
Each business can decide if they will allow customers to use reusable cups and containers. If they allow it, they must manage food safety risks and adhere to food safety requirements. This applies to all reusable containers, including:
personal keep cups
in-house reusable coffee cup schemes used by coffee shops.
As such, we are supporting all our partner cafes to continue using of Again Again’s cup share system, observing the updated best practice workflow. Each serve a cafe makes can be into a newly sanitised Again Again cup. At some time in the future, the cups can be returned to the drop point, refunded, and sanitised along with your cafe crockery. Approved.
We have plenty of fleet in stock. If you require more fleet to service your cafe, please forward your order via email, or via our B2B store and we will process immediately. This will be invoiced as you will be receiving these deposits from your customers.
Summary:
While Coronavirus and its containment is a global concern, Again Again’s system can continue to provide a solution to the world’s waste problem while de-risking the handling procedures that we acknowledge has given rise to concern for some.
Again Again believes we can “pull out all the stops” and act to assure the safety of reusable cups without panic. Together we can protect each other and the environment.
